Area and format
The same floor area can require very different work for a restaurant, salon, shop, office or spa.
The website figure helps establish an order of budget. Our proposal is based on the floor plan and a short brief and lists stages, deliverables and responsibilities.
Functional zones, customer and staff routes, equipment, storage and service points.
Spatial identity, materials, lighting, furniture and the visual logic of the brand.
Plans, elevations, details and information required by the delivery team.
Schedules for finishes, lighting, furniture and equipment within the agreed scope.
The same floor area can require very different work for a restaurant, salon, shop, office or spa.
Available data, geometry, engineering constraints and landlord rules affect the number of decisions.
The number of rooms, bespoke items and required packages is established before the project begins.
| Item | What is defined | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Output | Stages, drawings, visualisations and schedules | So “design project” means the same scope to both parties |
| Inputs | Survey, brief, equipment and site constraints | So decisions use the current information set |
| Approvals | Decision-makers and agreed review rounds | So the programme does not depend on an unknown approval route |
| Additional work | Site support, visits, specialist packages and construction if needed | So nothing is assumed to be included automatically |
Frequency, visits and responsibilities are defined in the proposal for the specific site.
The need for engineering and other disciplines is determined from the space and landlord requirements.
Construction is not hidden inside the word “design”; scope and responsibility are agreed separately.
Send a floor plan or tell us the area and business format. We will clarify the inputs and prepare a project scope and fee.
